Healing Stones refer to the sacred lingam found in many temples, particularly in South India. The lingam stones are washed daily by many substances such as milk, turmeric, sugar cane and honey as a ritual of purification.
Without a balance of a ritual in life, it is hard to imagine furthering an awareness or consciousness to meet demands of contemporary life. Creating the healing stones in pulp painting satisfied iconic imagery I carry within.
