WITNESS WALL, 2019.

4 groups of 9, each sheet 13.5” x 13.5”

4 individual prints, each sheet 13.5” x 13’5”

Smart plate lithography on translucent flax papers

Scored papers and lithographic portraits combine for a large installation wall,

Each one in the grid is resonant of the responses to the questions answered in the “Milestones for Hope” questionnaire that I received back from almost 100 individuals. Each portrait was digitally overlaid by flooding water or another distortion to remove a sense of identity, and unite the wall in sovereignty.

The Witness Wall features over 200 lithographs and scored flax sheets of paper, some with words, to represent concerns, fears, anger and hope in response to climate crisis of the Anthropocene.
